On the IU Bloomington campus, the Office of Institutional Equity works to create a campus free of unlawful discrimination and harassment by:

  • Monitoring, analyzing, and advising on recruitment and employment practices including search requirements and salary equity.
  • Appropriately and promptly responding to reports of discrimination and harassment.
  • Collaborating with other offices and departments to offer training and information on affirmative action, equal opportunity, diversity, disability matters, Title IX, and discrimination and harassment prevention.
