University compliance
The Office of Institutional Equity has been charged with the responsibility for:
- Managing the University's Non-Discrimination Policy (UA-01) and its Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct Policy (UA-03).
- Coordinating the University's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Policy (UA-02).
- Overseeing the University's compliance with federal civil rights laws including Title IX, Title VII, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- The Student Welfare Initiative, an intensified effort to respond to sexual assault and all forms of sexual violence misconduct across campuses
